I found this post on RfM, where confused has found some more rock-solid contradictions in the mormon faith.
Here is the post from “confused”
Confused, RfM message board, writes:
Okay. I finally figured it out. But to explain it is needful to read these three links;
Fisrt the varying first vision accounts:

Second,the official First Vision conflicts with the nature of God:
http://www.lds-mormon.com/changod.shtml
And Third, how Jesus became Jehovah:
http://www.lds-mormon.com/godsname.shtml
All together, it seems that when you remove the official First Vision of the Father and the Son, the conflict with the teachings of early mormonism disappear. There is no more need to justify various tellings because the understanding was progressing. The progression of the theology is well noted and acceptable. That is, acceptacle unless you try to claim that Joseph saw God and Jesus in 1820. The First Vision only works if you take into account the later teachings and official statements in 1921 and toss out everything before that.
In link three, even Brigham Young and John Taylor did not teach that Jesus was Jehovah. Of course Brigham also taught that Adam was God…
So, it finally was revealed to me, and cemented itself-
If it were possible that Joseph had a vision, the only likely candidate is the 1832. If God and Jesus had appeared, none of the evolution, confusion or later theological developements would have been possible. Considering Josephs own evolution of the nature of God, the 1832 event is highly suspect as well.
It is impossible to conclude that Joseph was any more inspired from on high than any other man, learned or otherwise. The only other possibility is that the church was hijacked and its theology was completely overturned by heretics in the late 1880s and a yet another new theology was put in place in 1921.
Is there really any further reason to believe?

Ok, so your comment is either clear parody, or…
You’re a mormon, who can’t handle what’s on this web page, so you decided that you could speak for God (because you believe he can speak to you?), and presume what His reaction would be to my post?
Funny either way. Thanks!
